I know a teacher who had a an IEP student who was allowed to stim as much and as loud as they wanted without being asked to do so quieter or to stop at all. While also having an other student whose IEP stated they needed a quiet and distraction free environment to do their work and tests 💀

Secretary once called and was like you sent these two kids to the office and they're not allowed to be together. I was like, well I sent them from the same class and I'm gonna worry about the 28 I still have in front of me.

Ive got an IEP meeting this month for a kid who's mom wants to add reduced homework, and not having to write complete sentences. The kid plays games all day and is just as intelligent as any other kid. His mom is a SPED teacher

I HAVE 18 IEPS WITH VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL ACCOMMODATIONS IN A CLASS OF 23. Not only is it a physical impossibility, but statistically… wtf?!

We don't see "front of the room" at the accommodations at my school, rather "preferential seating". Luckily, out of 40 seats.. about 30 can be called preferential 😁

As a secondary teacher in UK, I’ve also had ALL of these issues. In my 2nd year of teaching I even had a parent request that their some sit at MY DESK to work.

All of this! 😭 I am ONE human in classes that have 30+ students with AT LEAST 6 IEPs/504s per period. 😰 Also, how am I supposed to help with chronic absenteeism beyond making sure admin knows it's happening?🤨

I teach graphic design, 17 kids. 12 computers. I also have two classes timetabled in the same room AT THE SAME TIME and I’m expected to teach both. They’re different year groups.

I have a kindergartner in my music class this year with an accommodation that they can wander the room and basically do what they please. They can’t get in trouble for it. 🙃🙃🙃
