18 speed 3:90 or 3:70 keep the rpm under 1500 and the speed around 60 and the fuel mileage goes up

a 2mpg gain on an otr tractor is amazing, most people can't comprehend how much of an improvement that is for an O/O let alone fleets.

I run super singles. The tpms has saved my butt several times. Catch the air leaks before the tire blows. I also keep a mounted spare tire+ tool to change it if needed. Super singles are pretty good in sand, too.

Yeah that works on your easy roads but fuel mileage doesn’t exist on the roads i travel too many gravel hills over 6 hours on a gravel highway up in forests id love to see your low rolling restince tires then and ur computer my pete can track that all day

proper tire pressure and basic maintenance with proper driving techniques will do 95 percent of the work for you. also slow down instead of doing 75 do 60.
