Mine was doing this but the trick that worked for me was feeding them right before they got in even if they don’t seem hungry so there belly is full and they don’t get hungry soon as i start driving

I know you have a car camera but keep an eye on him when he's falling asleep because sometimes you can fix the recline but when they start going to sleep their heads can still bawble forward and that's the unsafe part of it when I took my son from being fully reclined to being more upright his head still went forward when he took naps in the car and I had to go to a cpst to see why he was doing that and it was because he was still not ready to be reclined forward. he might not like being reclined back but if it's helps them stay safer

When you forward face he may like to be reclined more keep that in mind my son likes to sit up rear facing forward, facing likes to be practically laying down

Just chiming in bc I have two kids almost the same age as yours and we decided to try for number three. Be careful bc 3 can turn into 3 and 4 😂🙈 but on a side note.. trying this with my 19mo!!!

Also a mirror! Idk if you use one instead of a car camera but my toddler is SO much happier when she can use the mirror to see better!

I honestly don't have much to say except do not forward face him. They should be at least two and max out rear facing (40-50 lbs, 40-49 inches depending on seat)
