I will say I'm not biologically apparent. but I think this is absolutely true. overreacting can cause stress in the baby which will cause the baby to cry and be scared even more. I think she did quite amazing actually. 👏

Half the time the tears are more fear than pain. Not freaking out and amplifying the fear helps the kid realize 'Oh, I'm ok, I just got scared!'

yes ! i loveeee my tiny baby i feel so bad when he hits hisself or falls or any other baby in general ! but i do not react ! i clap or say its ok! look at them with a smile babies react how you react !
