@amonhaa: Black parents, y'all need to stop having your kids around or be raised around white people because this is the type of violence you are subjecting your boys and young teenagers to. If you're not teaching them and developing their consciousness, you're allowing them to be dehumanized for a joke and reduced to an animal. When you fail to raise Black children in Black spaces with a concrete understanding of the realities of being Black in America, they end up participating in their own degradation. Without that cultural foundation, they won't even recognize the power dynamics at play, and they'll smile and follow commands of white people that treat them like pets just to survive the environment.
