Do you know how faith alone will cause the bearing of the fruit, good works, obeying the commandments, repentance, cleansing, transformation, endurance perseverance and every good thing according to God's Word of Truth? When you hear and understand who Jesus is and how the Gospel of Jesus gives a guaranteed salvation and then believe (repentance/turning from sin) by putting your faith in His name and His Gospel (baptism with the Living Water that is His Word, reborn of water)("betting or putting all your money on Jesus and His Gospel") your sins are forgiven making you righteous (new life as a new created spirit) to receive the promised Holy Spirit (reborn of spirit) who does the sanctification works (teaching guiding prepping equipping training) within you that is for the renewal of your mind causing your spirit to grow into perfection (reaching maturity) to bear good fruits so that you can do the good works according to God's specific will and purpose He has for you that is for the expansion of His Kingdom. When you believe & trust and put your faith in Jesus (if you love me obey my commands) you are loving Him in obedience which is also being obedient to the first 4 commandments. By loving God, you are also loving your neighbors as being obedient by faith, you bear the good fruits to do the good works of love your neighbors - causing you to obey the last 6 commandments. Focusing on your lack of work or good fruits, perfectly obeying each law or commandments, repenting, confessing sins, enduring, abiding, etc as if all these are separate from each as if a checklist to be done after salvation is denying/hating/rejecting Jesus and His Gospel through works. You put your faith in Him to forgive your sins as if that is what salvation is or for, but put your faith in yourself as if you are the guarantor of your salvation. Faith in Jesus is the catalyst for the guaranteed salvation. God spoke of a guaranteed salvation, Jesus carried out the works bringing forth this salvation, and the Holy Spirit brings salvation to completion as the guarantor. Your faith doesn't save you, the One you put your faith in saves you.
