Can I suggest to change or clean your dryer vent if it takes a long time to dry your clothes. Those ridges hold a lot of lint.

You can install French drains for WAY less!!! Don't spend your money on that. That is so expensive. Get more bids. AND have the grades checked around your house. Graders more often the problem. Isn't there a patio sunk towards your house? Get another opinion.

often a neighbors house nearby is higher than your house, all water runs into your yard, the solution is a "swale" on your property- it will keep water from getting near your house, dig a slight gully around your house have drain to the street.
