i kid you not, we were reading the tom and deena phone call transcript and a kid in my class turned around, looked at her friend, and asked her if she wanted to roleplay it

my mom had worked at the tower that got hit second, she quit two months before the 9/11 attacks. she had been working on the 97th floor, right above where they hit. i’m so glad she was fortunate enough to have moved and quit before it happened. i can’t imagine how she felt when hearing about what was happening on the news. it’s genuinely such a devastating thing. i feel so sorry for everyone who was affected. listening to the calls and seeing all the videos and etc from that day and afterwards is truly so sad.
