There are historic remnants of the Oregon Trail in that area. And the woodwork hand carvings and metal work in the depression-era Timberline Lodge can be worth a visit as well.

Oh your dog found the Sasquatch Rock. Sasquatch “marks his territory” on that rock so it makes the dogs bark.
