I don't agree with their assumptions but having a conversation about jobs then being asked, "what do you do" and not also answering with your job is being purposefully obtuse. she could have simply said, "I do this, but I would rather not talk about work at a party" instead of her being purposefully obtuse and then refusing to talk about work when asked a follow-up. I wouldn't have necessarily assumed she was a gold digger (esp because 68k a year isn't worth digging), but I would have been like, "why is she being so weird about a simple question?"

Crossed paths with one of ex's friends on a Saturday. Chewed me out for forcing my ex pay my rent, when he wasnt living there, all because I couldnt afford to live alone. It was making ex's life impossible...💀 "When and what time did he say these that?" Last Wednesday morning at his house. "Isnt it odd for someone, who is paying someone else's rent, NOT to be working Wednesday morning...?" I had found out that he'd been fired for no shows bc there was no-one to wake him up in the mornings💀
