My cat just got prescribed hydrolyzed diet too! She had vomiting episodes where she wasn’t keeping down her food or water, and no testing raised alarms. Also trying the food before having to do the ultrasound. Hoping Boo and my kitty both take to the hydrolyzed diet well!

Gabapentin has yet to calm any of my pets. It did help my current dog with his back pain, but then he started throwing up. 🤦🏻♀️

Mine likes to hide in the crook of my arm whenever we are at the vet 😭🥺 it's so sweet and funny at the same time because her butt is clearly still visible for the vet to take her temps and give shots etc 😂 but according to madame if her face is hidden then she becomes invisible

We have one that laughs in the face of gabapentin as well. She's 7lbs, got 100 mg of gabapentin, and still tried to bite everyone at the vet's office.

are you feeding her dry food or wet food? one of my cats always throws up with wet food but is fine with dry food, so maybe only trying dry food for a bit and see if that helps with the throw up
