I disagree. It doesn't matter for this generation as people are locked in to current hardware for the most part. That being said enough of these small cuts going into next gen can change the tide. PC has been the fastest growing market the last few years and Sony making moves that burn their core audience only increases that move. Xbox that was on life support 6 months ago has been making better moves and has taken advantage of Sonys misplays (not to its fullest but still an important). Honestly if Xbox leverages IP like Fallout, Elder scrolls ect and locks them to console and PC (skipping sony) they can change the tide. We are currently seeing a return of the PS3 Sony who thought they were untouchable but they weren't.
