I’m struggling with baby lean weaning. Yesterday we let him have a piece of watermelon. He got a piece off and gagged and threw up everywhere.

My baby is 6 1/2 months and she just doesn’t seem to know how to use her tongue. She pushes everything out :( She enjoys it, but isn’t really eating much. She was born 5 weeks early though, should I keep that in mind or is it possible she could need feeding therapy?

My 7.5 month old has a bit of a tongue tie - it has not been a problem for nursing so our pediatrician did not suggest getting it corrected. But, my daughter gags and does not want anything mashed. She does well with solids when BLW but gags constantly and turns away with anything mashed. Could this be due to the tongue tie?
