different purposes. and also there's a newer fork of chunky called chunksmith that loads LODs and chunks at the same time, essentially chunky on steroids. I have yet to fully test it though

why do people vote for DH if there is fake LOD that cant show more then 32 real chunks, and if you use “zoom” u can see a lot of bad quality “fake” blocks instead of Chunky or voxy

They do it two different ways, and they're on two different systems. I personally found Voxy better because it's on Fabric, so you can use all the really cool mods like Sodium etc.

if people are wondering why DH is faster, its because its not actually generating chunks, just the blocky meshes that it uses, so its not rendering the full chunks, thsts why the further ones load in fastest as the blocks there are 4x4 in size. chunky is the best for loading chunks
