I'm not a big fan of AI, but I use copilot to write my résumé. Then you can ask copilot to create interview questions from the job qualifications so that you can prepare for those questions. And it's OK to take notes with you.

I gave up months ago when trying to change careers and put my masters degree to use. The market is terrible. Jobs be wanting ten yrs experience for an entry level job with entry level pay. Make it make sense.

I got rejected from CVS and Walgreens as a shift supervisor. I worked at Walgreens when I was 16. But apparently at 41 I’m no longer qualified. Mind you I’ve been a retail manager for 5 years, team lead for 3, and was a business development manager for 3. Amidst having 1M in sales my first year in luxury women’s jewelry, which I knew absolutely nothing about. Legit overqualified or under qualified for everything apparently 😑

Don’t give up. You’re probably just up against people with more experience changing jobs moving from state to state and having to apply for entry-level jobs, even with a lot of experience. Imagine how they feel rejected. Just keep on keeping on.

Entry level does not mean no experience any more. It means the lowest level in that specific company. Some companies lowest level requires experience with certain skill sets.
