This is BS! lol I live here and our town stays busy all summer long! There was so many people here in July ( thousands) that I went somewhere else for the 4th! Christmas time is another time that we are crowded! Saturdays our markets and festivals keep our town busy most of the year.

I live in Williamsburg and have my entire life. this is BS fake news. CW is doing just fine. Actually when I was a teenager town used to be dead in the winter but now it's busy all year.

I have several friends and clients that work there and have said that the schools haven’t been participating like they used to in a few years. Also that the president and the past presidents really haven’t run it as well as it used to. Many cuts have been made many jobs lost due to cost.

@betrue892u: I think colonial Williamsburg still has an amazing magical feel. It’s like nothing else in the country… like walking through the closest thing to a Time Machine you can find. Still the most unique and stunning place I’ve ever been, worth the trip for anyone with whimsy…. Especially when the wisteria is blooming!!!

Colonial Williamsburg is as busy as it should be. The city of Williamsburg is packed with retirees with bad driving habits. Stay away. There are far better destinations
