@perspectives.with.andrea: Solo travel doesn’t automatically make you independent👀 I’ve crossed borders alone, carried an 25kg backpack through different countries, trekked mountains in the rain, navigated visa chaos in Kyrgyzstan, slept in yurts and traveled through places people told me were “too difficult” to visit alone. But the biggest thing solo travel taught me? Independence isn’t about needing nobody. Some of my best travel experiences happened because I asked for help, trusted locals, made friends with strangers and let people take care of me.
