A lot of these companies have crazy policies, but with hybe and their girls it’s markedly more toxic. They are so obsessed with punishing their girls and it has to be bc of what happened to GLAM. I don’t think a lot of people know that hybe (back as bighit) swore off girl groups for years and basically said never again after what happened with them. My job once made a promotional position with me in mind. Pulled me aside and basically offered me the role before they posted it. I declined because something felt off about it. During the interview process at least 2 colleagues that were applying asked if I was going too bc "I'd be good at it." I told them all my suspicions, reasons, and said "Yeah I would be good at it, but that doesn't mean I want it." A year or two later, the person that got it is now miserable, quietly looking for another job and told me "You were right." Lexie stuck to her guts. All the love and luck to her and Saint Satine. Let them choose the path that's right for themselves 💚
