digital backdrops immediately ruin a show for me. we used to have great painted or printed backdrops that make it feel like a show. realistic digital backdrops always feel less realistic than painted/printed ones. and with the rise in ai i just know that digital backgrounds in theater are going to get so much worse

My tiny HIGHSCHOOL had a better set than this!! It was so big we could hang out UNDER the set. And we had to carry the set across buildings!! WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE A PROPER AREA TO BUILD IT WE PAINTED IT IN THE CLASSROOM
