I highly encourage everyone to visit the Flight 93 memorial in PA! One of the most hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking places. Ill never forget the feeling there

Another relatively unknown fact is that they also saved two fighter pilots from having to crash. The only way for them to stop flight 93 would be to crash their planes into it (there was an issue with getting their weapons ready in time), but the passengers took over before it got to that point

todd beamer and mark bingham!! we have a 9/11 memorial for them at our local library here and they are known as heroes. yesterday we had air force fighter jets fly over town in remembrance of them :))

When I think about how they must’ve felt it makes me want to cry, but they STILL chose to do what they could to save lives, even though they knew they wouldn’t survive 💔

couple years after my company did a tribute. they had a special flag with everyone's names in categories then a plaque with an individual name under each us flag. there were both tower sections 93 section Pentagon section and q section for all support people who died. I experienced it just couple years before but standing in the middle of a sea of flags i fell to my knees crying it was so powerful.
