On the final day of the trial, while we were waiting for the jury’s verdict and Reddington was fighting tooth and nail to prevent a mistrial, my instinct was to think that he was simply doing everything he could for his client, Lindsey. But somehow, I also felt as though the universe was sending a message: Let it unfold. Don’t force it. Maybe there was a reason things weren’t going the way we expected. And now, just days later, things are starting to come to light. Like what happened yesterday with one of the jurors, who apparently lied on the juror questionnaire about ever having been arrested or having trouble with the law. It has now emerged that he had, in fact, been arrested following a complaint against him. It makes me think that everything really does happen for a reason. Whether you call it the universe or God, sometimes there is a bigger plan at work, and we have to trust it rather than force things in the direction we think is right. Because in the end, that mistrial may actually turn out to be a blessing for this woman.

This is so real honestly, and I’m someone who commented that because of coping, but it proves how easily we can be subconsciously gaslit because of him saying so much that he has “stood by her legally” but you’re right he wasn’t there for her and ugh if that doesn’t go back and point exactly to what we’ve all been saying about men with this case in the first place 😩 and then the fact that everyone keeps saying if we could just hear the 911 call we would know no one could act that well. Like I’m sorry why is someone’s devastating display of emotion our entire evidence?! I truly feel crazy.

It seems that is what happened with the holdout juror. His ex wife didn’t testify because she was scared to lose custody of her child or children. I could imagine how many people don’t end up testifying.
