So what’s your point? The United States dentist operate under stricter guidelines, western countries are better options. Foreign dentist have different standards of what is acceptable and what is not

My parents and my brother liked the quality of dentists here in Thailand, they had fillings and root canals here before, also tooth extraction for my brother and my dad too, I only had deep cleaning and fluoride (wisdom teeth removal soon) because I don’t have any cavities, it’s not genetics because my whole family had cavities

I feel that US dental insurance is a scam. The dental office will give you an estimate of how much insurance claims to cover for the service but when the service is completed, the insurance say “never mind, we’re not going to cover it that much” 🤦🏻♀️

Yeah America needs to do better with the price, but in Thailand the service doesn’t compare to America. They only do a quick water floss and apply fluoride. No scrapping whatsoever. I’m not talking about fancy offices in Bangkok catered to foreigners and wealthy people. I’m talking about real Thailand.

in America even you have dental insurance it said free 2 time per year for dental clean but when you go clean your dental you still pay over $100

ส่วนตัวใช้สวัสดิการของรัฐคับ บัตร 30 บาท ตอนถอนฟันคุดก็ใช้เวลานัด 1 อาทิตย์คับ ราคาก็ 30 บาทคับ แล้วหมอก็จะให้ยามากินด้วยคับ (สำหรับใครที่มีบัตรนะคับ ถ้าไม่อยากไปหาหมอที่โรงบาล สามารถตรวจสอบคลินิกหมอฟันที่เข้าร่วมใกล้บ้านได้คับ แต่ต้องจองคิวนะคับ ติดต่อเร็วก็อาจจะได้คิววันนั้นเลย เพราะเค้ามีโควต้าเป็นวันๆคับ)

to be fair, you need bachelor degree as a prerequisite for dental school in the US while in Thailand u can study it as a bachelor degree.

น่าเป็นเรื่องของความต่างกันของค่าเงินนั่นแหละมั้ง คนไทยขูดหินปูนแบบไม่เบิกประกันสังคมเต็มๆก็1500บาท ผ่าฟันคุด3500-4000บาท ซึ่งถือว่าค่อนข้างสูงแต่แลกกับการไม่ต้องไปต่อคิว(เข้าคลีนิคเอกชน) ถ้าผ่าฟันคุด50,000บาทผมคงต้องให้เมียที่บ้านเอาสากกะเบือทุบออกมาแทน😅
