I have no relation to anyone who died but it still never fails to make me cry somehow, I think it’s because they knew they weren’t going to make it out and had to choose between jumping or burning 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

What stuck with me is only two of my teachers talked about it today.. nobody else. The STUDENTS who weren't even around during the event was asking the teachers why they weren't talking about it. there wasn't even anything on the announcements.

I had a great-great grandfather, he was the oldest person to die due to 9-11 at 80 years old. He worked in the South tower, My ma called him Uncle Gunnis. Right after the second tower was hit he fled to a ambulance , and while getting treatment, the north tower collapsed and he got hit in the head by debris, causing severe brain damage and death on January 1st of 2002. I wasn’t alive for it but his story is still relevant in my family.
