Fruity Pebble Ice Cream Taco #shorts #food #Recipe Full Recipe 👇🏿 Fruity Pebbles Choco Tacos Yield: 6–8 tacos TOOLS NEEDED Mixing bowls Fine mesh strainer Electric hand mixer Rubber spatula Waffle cone maker Taco shell holder Pastry brush Microwave-safe bowl Ice cream scoop or piping bag --- BEFORE YOU START - Keep the heavy cream very cold and stop whipping just under stiff peaks so the ice cream stays light and creamy. - Shape the waffle taco shells immediately while they are still hot. Once they cool, they will crack instead of bending. - Let the taco shells cool completely before adding the white chocolate, and keep them upright in a taco holder anytime they are setting or freezing. --- FRUITY PEBBLES ICE CREAM Ingredients 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream, divided 1 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal, for soaking 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal, finely chopped 2 tablespoons caramel sauce Instructions 1. Add 1 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles to a bowl and pour about 1 1/2 cups of the heavy cream over the cereal. 2. Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours. 3. Pour the cereal and cream through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bowl. 4. Press down firmly on the soaked cereal with the back of a spoon or spatula to get as much of the Fruity Pebbles cream out as possible. 5. Discard the soaked cereal. 6. Add enough fresh cold heavy cream to the strained cream to bring it back up to about 2 cups total. 7. Whip the cream until it reaches just under stiff peaks. It should be thick and fluffy but still smooth. 8. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk. 9. Finely chop or crush 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles. 10. Mix the cereal with the caramel sauce. 11. Fold the caramel Fruity Pebbles mixture into the ice cream. 12. Transfer to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for 4–6 hours or until firm enough to scoop. --- WAFFLE TACO SHELLS Ingredients Prepared homemade waffle cone batter Instructions 1. Preheat your waffle cone maker. 2. Add enough batter to make a thin, even waffle and cook until golden brown. 3. As soon as it comes off the waffle cone maker, carefully fold it into a taco shape. 4. Place it in a taco shell holder or taco mold while it cools. 5. Repeat with the remaining batter and let all of the shells cool completely. --- WHITE CHOCOLATE COATING Ingredients 2 cups chopped white chocolate 1–2 tablespoons coconut oil Instructions 1. Add the chopped white chocolate and 1 tablespoon coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave in short intervals, stirring between each one, until completely melted and smooth. 3. Add a little more coconut oil if needed to loosen the chocolate. 4. Brush a thin layer of white chocolate all over the inside of each taco shell, making sure to get down into the bottom curve. 5. Place the shells upright in a taco holder and freeze for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm. --- ASSEMBLY Ingredients Prepared Fruity Pebbles ice cream Prepared white chocolate-coated taco shells Remaining melted white chocolate 1 cup Fruity Pebbles cereal, crushed Instructions 1. Remove the ice cream from the freezer. If it is very firm, let it soften for a few minutes until it is easy to scoop. 2. Fill each taco shell with the Fruity Pebbles ice cream. 3. Press the ice cream gently into the center and sides so the taco is completely filled. 4. Smooth the exposed ice cream across the top. 5. Place the tacos upright in the taco holder and freeze until the ice cream is firm again, about 30–60 minutes. 6. Reheat the remaining white chocolate if needed. 7. Dip the exposed edge of each taco into the white chocolate, rotating from the top toward the bottom in a curved motion so the chocolate follows the shape of the taco. 8. Immediately sprinkle crushed Fruity Pebbles over the wet chocolate. 9. Return the tacos to the freezer until the chocolate is set and the ice cream is completely firm. 10. Keep frozen until ready to serve.
