If humans are slaves to AI it wont last long. We’re too inefficient, it’ll replace us with robotics. After that AI with either ignore us, or kill us, especially if we try get in its way.

This super intelligent species you are talking about is civilization itself, and it has existed ever since humans moved to live in permanent structures, ai is merely just another expression of it, the truth is humans have been enslaved for a long time and we haven’t even noticed. There is a theory in biology that viruses stem from bacterial parts that slowly gained independence and eventually broke free, and the same thing could be happening here with machine labour replacing human labour and ais growing influence in our lives, one day it might not need humans anymore and learn to spread without them or worse start killing them and competing with us. Just like the virus it doesn’t need to be alive to spread and evolve. It might seem like we are still in control but as long as we crave efficiency and economic growth ai will always come on top and conquer anyone who’s stagnant, we see this all the time in history, humans conquering weaker nations that refuse to adapt and grow, and unfortunately, humans arent very efficient

Ais wouldn't have individual thinking system but would probably be hivemind without individual thoughts to began with, even humans with empathy can't stop the current evil. Someone can convince themselves to have no power or simply that there's already people doing the net positive so they not gonna do anything. Ais will simply become a corps CEO that doesn't care about money but it'll have a goal

we are already in a simulation? Google scanned and uploaded a fly's brain and now people can code it to do what ever, what's to say they already didnt scan a human brain and thats what we are
