@dyosathemomma: It’s been 3 months since I last tandem breastfed Ocean and Sky… and somehow, it’s only sinking in now. 🥹 I will never breastfeed a baby again. Yup, I am ligated. They are my last baby. Just typing that makes me so emotional. 😭🤍 I breastfed Amaria and Yana for 4 years, and my twins for 2 years and 4 months. So much of my motherhood was spent nursing a little one—through sleepless nights, tired days, sickness, travels, comfort feeds, and all those quiet moments that belonged only to me and my babies. Was it tiring? Sobra. There were so many times I couldn’t wait to have my body back. But now that this chapter is really over, I find myself wishing I could go back… even just for one more feed. 🥺 For years, my body was their nourishment, their comfort, their safe place. And what a privilege that was. I’m sad that this season of my life is over, but my heart is also so full. I’m proud of my body. Proud of how far we made it. And more than anything, deeply grateful to God for giving me the strength and ability to nourish all four of my children this way. 🙏🏻🤍 It was exhausting. It was demanding. It was beautiful. It was fulfilling. And I would do it all over again. Goodbye to my breastfeeding era. 🥹🤱🏻 You were one of the hardest and most beautiful chapters of my motherhood.
