@charlotterowleyhair: This client came to me wanting to feel super blonde - so she assumed she wanted it to be applied to the root. I talked her out of it & this is why. She is a based 6 and he hair doesn’t grow out well at all when it’s painted directly to the root. It also becomes very one dimensional and blocky which makes the blonde actually appear dull. I explained that being blended from the root didn’t mean “darker” it means better maintenance & more expensive looking. It also means the blonde will have the space to pop more. And when we finished she couldnt believe how blonde she felt ❤️ Sometimes it’s having the confidence to do what you know is best and just helping the client understand our thought processes! Being confidence in your placements and outcomes really helps to! Having that plan and knowing where your going with it 🫶🏼
