@roberta.pizzorno.art: “INFORMED MATTER” 130x120 cm From Silent Totem Collection The Silent Totem series stems from a personal exploration of material and memory. I layer acrylic textures, adhesives, gold leaf, and gold powders onto solid wood or stretched canvas, sealing everything under high-gloss resin. The result is a tactile, almost cosmic object: an architecture of light and silence that engages with the space around it. I chose to remove all figurative elements so as not to offer footholds for the rational mind. Without images to guide the eye, only the power of the material and the play of light remain, creating a calm space where the viewer can recover a sense of inner silence and a purely contemplative dimension.
