@sdelanovussr: In the Soviet Union, a wood-burning kit was the dream of almost every boy, and one Saturday I found my old “Uzor” set hidden in the storage room. I decided to show it to my son, who already loved drawing on everything he could find. I demonstrated how the heated tip could create pictures on a wooden cutting board, and his eyes immediately lit up. Feeling proud of my little artist, I left him to practice while I went to the garage to spend some time with my friends. When I returned home that evening, I discovered that his creativity had gone much further than expected. Every cutting board, wooden spoon, rolling pin, and kitchen utensil had been decorated with skulls, anchors, and other drawings. My wife was definitely not impressed! After she went back to the kitchen, my son and I quietly sat together looking at his collection of “masterpieces,” both realizing that we now had a lot of explaining to do. #USSR #sovietunion #History #story
