I just use a kitchen bowl for food waste, it then goes directly into the compost and rinse the bowl. No need to create more garbage by using a plastic bag!

Putting food in an extra plastic bag before you toss is truly one of the most environmentally unfriendly things you can do. That food helps trash rot and compost. In a plstic bag, it all just lasts so much longer.
