@samsonadeyemi_: 10/30. You have questions? You feel tired sometimes? You feel uncertain? You’re still learning more about yourself? You just finished your B.sc and you’re wondering what’s next? Well, and so what? That doesn’t make you weird. That makes you human. You’re not alone. There are many other people feeling exactly like you. Don’t allow your own mind to trap you into believing that you should have figured it all out by now, because you shouldn’t have. And no one else has life all figured out, even the people on your vision board. Everyone is just trying, learning, winning sometimes, failing sometimes, getting back up, and going again. And so should you. You don’t have to know exactly where your life is going before you take the next step. Because you’ll never have all of life figured out. And that’s okay. The earlier you accept that the better. You think someone else got it all together but you conveniently leave out the fact that those people are also trying to navigate life too. And you forget that you don’t know the full story. But how can you wish for the life of someone you only know through the parts they choose to share with you, or the parts you choose to see? Why are you constructing a complete story from incomplete information? Why do you feel like you know more about someone else’s life than yours? Once you accept that you don’t have to have it all figured out, you can stop comparing your life with that of strangers and focus your attention on your own life. You can wake up with hope. You can stay open to growth, doing, learning, and becoming a more whole version of yourself…every single day. Because if you believe you should have it all figured out, trying every day will become difficult. But if you know that figuring it out is part of being human, you can keep going. Life is an endless journey of figuring it out. So give yourself grace and face your own garden. Because the grass isn’t greener on the other side. The grass is greener where you water it. You’ve got this. This is one out of 30 of the things I’ve unlearned that keeps helping me build a life I love. And I’m sharing this to encourage you to build a life that you love.
