@em.morris33: Pre 9/11 to now. It's been 25 years since 9/11 Here are some pre 9/11 photographs have changed! I was 8 years old when it happened!! remember / was in my 3rd grade class our teacher explained what happened she drew yellow chalkboard drawings on the chalkboard. She explained in Spanish to a classmate who was a English learner what happened. We welcomed that classmate:) Those drawings on the chalkboard board will forever be frozen in time. My dad was at work he saw it on the the TV. The teachers didn't roll in a TV at my school. I didn't see much of the footage till I was 18. My parents didn't want me to see it until was older they when I was curious told me no you aren't old enough to watch it. We donated socks to the clean up crew. Many had to breathe the toxic chemicals. There was more freedom, trust, and privacy before 9/11! That world is gone. It took me over 20 years later to see New York in 2023! @The New York Times @worldtradecenter @USA TODAY #september11 #25years #newyork #remember #eastcoast
