His family later said he suffered broken bones during the incident. His loved ones have continued sharing limited updates while protecting the more graphic details. Most recently, they said Hilton remains in an inpatient setting under the care of medical and mental health professionals. They also said he is able to communicate and has been allowed supervised visits with his children. Before the August incident, Hilton had also faced other serious health issues, including sepsis and what he described as “severe depression.” A source told Page Six that mounting medical bills had also created significant financial pressure.
