However, when serious allegations are publicly made against a business and its professional reputation, we have a responsibility to put the facts on record. The account that originally published the allegations operated under @tainalucien14. The post was subsequently followed by disabled comments and a change of username to @tlucien1. The original post was captioned: “wedding vendors I would recommend to any couple who values clear communication, accountability, and knowing their once in a lifetime memories are being handled with care.” It went on to describe the experience as one of the “worst” Italy wedding experiences and alleged, among other things, that MCEFILMS deleted irreplaceable raw footage without notice and relied on poor communication. There is, however, a documented record that tells a materially different story. The raw footage was not part of the contracted deliverables. It was provided as a courtesy, outside the agreed scope of service, and was delivered to the client in full. The client subsequently confirmed in writing that she and her husband had watched the delivered films and described them as “beautiful”, adding that they felt able to “relive the wedding week all over again.” Months later, after the client’s own storage device became corrupted, MCEFILMS was contacted to locate another copy. We checked our available drives, SSDs, memory cards and cloud archives, but no remaining copy was found. There are also significant details surrounding the circumstances in which the raw footage was later requested that were not disclosed in the social-media narrative. We have documentary evidence supporting the timeline, including communications, delivery records, service documentation and the client’s own contemporaneous acknowledgment. This is not about silencing anyone’s right to share an experience. It is about ensuring that a one-sided social-media narrative does not become accepted as the complete factual record.
