Ticketer locks cards if the card ever declines for any reason. Card needs to go into an atm to reset it. Awful that drivers aren’t trained on these common issues

I was on that bus its 125 and there wasnt a fault with the ticket machine coz a passenger after him with card went green not red

Although being aggressive to the driver isn’t the way. If you’ve got money in your account and there’s a technical fault where it won’t let you get a ticket, you shouldn’t be refused travel. While yes, “no ticket no travel” but this is the problem with modern technology, it’s even happened to me, got enough for plenty of bus tickets in my account, but error with my card or the ticket machine, luckily the driver let me on in the occasion.
