Mia and Mini Models 🧡 :
so I had a neurology appt last month (I get them every few months, I have MS), and the neurologist, who WAS THE ONE WHO GAVE ME MY MOST OF MY MEDS BY THE WAY, suggested I go to a chronic pain clinic and get weaned off my gabapentin (he prescribed), my baclofen (he subscribed) and my tramadol (that I've been on, on and off, for 20 odd years because of endometriosis.
I went to my neurophysiotherapist the next week, hadn't taken my meds before I went, could barely walk, even WITH my crutch. she looked at me, looked at my notes, and said "yeah, pain clinic isn't going to help, I'll tell your neurologist"
mind you, this was the SAME neurophysio that told me all my pain was "mechanical" and to do with my age (I'm 47! cow...) not my MS, and she didn't detect any spasming the last time I was there. I WAS ON MY MEDS THAT DAY YOU SILLY BESOM! (that's why I went in sans-meds. was a horrible day, 1 hour on the bus each way, plus walking, but worth it to see her backpedal her "assessment" from the month before)
