THIS IS WHAT LIFE REALLY LOOKS LIKE ON AN OFFSHORE OIL RIG. 🌊🚁 Forget what you’ve seen in movies — an offshore rig can feel like a small city in the middle of the ocean. You can have accommodation, a private or shared room depending on the installation, meals served throughout the day, recreation areas, gyms, and other onboard facilities. And the work itself? There are far more careers offshore than just drilling. From catering and housekeeping to engineering, maintenance, deck operations, safety, logistics, and many more. The biggest trade-off is the lifestyle: long shifts and time away from home in exchange for extended time off and potentially strong earning opportunities. But remember, pay, room arrangements, amenities, and transportation can vary significantly by employer, rig, location, and contract. Would you actually live and work offshore for two weeks at a time? 👀🌊 👉 Follow @offshorecareer 👉 Comment “OFFSHORE” if you'd do it 👉 Check the link in our bio for the complete step-by-step guide. #offshorejobs #offshorelife #oilrig #riglife #FIFO #oilfieldjobs #oilandgas #offshorecareer #offshorework #oilriglife #offshoreliving #highpayingjobs #careeradvice - @hitchlife
