If anyone is interested in this, you need to look into telomeres. It’s not just a Scandinavian trait; it can be found in a few different populations. Longer telomeres generally correlate with a longer life. I inherited a genetic combination for longer telomeres and I’m South Welsh, my ancestors frequently lived into their 80s!
