bad effect of categorisation of schools is being exposed. if der shld be category schools, it shld be only 2, rich n poor schools rather dan A,B,C etc do we ve categories in final exams for each category? no. so y equipping some shs n called dem category A, less equipped s category B n not equipped at all, some don't ve dinning hall, no kitchen let alone computer or science lab. all dat dey ve r classrooms with table n chairs, uncompleted blocks of buildings, headmaster n his staff n such schools r christened less endowed or category C or D no politician kid will be placed in there. y r we doing dis to ourselves? de gab between de categories r wide n at de end of 3 yrs, no category A exams, no category B or C exams but same set of exams. if dey write same exams y not close de gab by equipping de so-called less endowed schools. is it de students who made them less endowed or de gov't? a good teacher must be able to bring de best out of any student. wat I ve observed is dat politicians want only de best education for their wards in order to take over from dem so dat poor people remain down there.

I completed St. James and at a point in time, we had a lot of us from St. James teach at Jinini SHS and we were able to teach the students to pass the WASSCE with a lot of "A1s". The problem is about placing only good students in particular schools. The problem is not about the teachers.
