Ten years. TEN years of building Renee Touma Makeup. 🖤 What started as something I loved doing as a little girl, a passion, a dream, has somehow become my reality. I started in a small home salon and poured my heart into it for years. Late nights, early mornings, weekends that blurred into weekdays, and countless sacrifices behind the scenes that nobody ever saw. Almost three years ago, I opened my very first commercial studio and even now, there are moments where it still doesn’t feel real. I entered this industry at just 17 years old. While others were living a “normal” social life, I was working weekends, saying no to nights out, showing up for clients, refining my craft and building something bigger than myself. There were seasons of exhaustion, moments of doubt, sleepless nights and times that felt incredibly heavy… but the vision I had for my future always kept me going. And truthfully, I wouldn’t change a thing. I love what I do. I love my clients. I love the confidence, transformation and feeling that walks out the door after every appointment. But beyond makeup, what fulfils me most is empowering women… helping them feel beautiful, confident and seen, while also inspiring other women to believe in themselves enough to build something of their own too. This business has shaped me into the woman I am today. It taught me resilience, discipline, self-belief and what it truly means to bet on yourself, even when the outcome is uncertain. What once only existed in my imagination is now my everyday life, and that is something I will never take for granted. To every client who trusted me, booked me, supported me, recommended me and grew with me over the years… thank you. You are the reason this dream became possible. To every lesson that stretched me, every risk that paid off and even the ones that didn’t… every chapter played a part in this story. 10 years later, and I genuinely feel like this is only the beginning.
