The problem is we have varieties of Bono languages or different accent . My hometown, Nsawkaw accent is different from Domaa, Jamal , Berekum, Wenchi and Techiman unlike the Asanti language which has one accent. So which should be in written form ?

the main reason behind that is, bono people feel unpleasant when people mock them with their language.. especially some Ashanti's will be like " what kind of language is this" meanwhile they clearly understand what you are saying.

You said it all. The language needs to be studied and written in school. The reason is political influence on how Asante Twi was allowed to be used in the curriculum to limit the number of Ghanaian languages in Ghana. There are a lot of advocacy for individual languages to be studied in many communities/Region in Ghana
