You are wrong because you didn't give real life application. if the currency is strong, do you know what that means to average Nigerian? it means, government pay to sustain the naira but price of garri will be cheap in market. but now government is not paying to defend naira,but the average Nigeria is paying with hardship. IMF know all this, that why when they borrow you money, the first thing they tell you is to devalue and float your currency. please understand real life economic application,not just theories

What I’m trying to say is that GDP growth doesn’t always mean people are doing better. A country can have a high GDP while ordinary citizens are still struggling with the cost of living. What really matters is having a strong economy that improves people’s lives, creates good jobs, increases incomes, and keeps living costs affordable not just making the country’s GDP look good on the international stage.
