@iamjudithheard: Glory Be To God ‼️ This morning, our King will be laid to rest. For nine days, we have mourned, prayed, remembered and stood with Tooro. And today, my heart is with King Oyo, the Queen Mother, Princess Komuntale, the entire Royal Family, and every person of Tooro carrying this loss. To our King: thank you for the life you lived, for the people you loved, and for the Kingdom you served. Most of all, thank you for never being ashamed of your love for God. Today we return your body to the earth, but we hold onto the promise of Jesus: “I am the resurrection and the life.” — John 11:25 To our Queen Mother: thank you for the son you raised and shared with Tooro. May God hold you especially close today. You will always be our Queen Mother, and nothing can take away the love your son planted in the hearts of his people. To Princess Komuntale: may God strengthen you as you say goodbye to your brother. The bond, memories and love you shared with him belong to you forever. And to the people of Tooro: may this day not divide us. May grief bring us closer to God and closer to one another. Thrones, titles and earthly possessions remain here, but love, faith and the lives we touch are what endure. Today is not about arguments. Today is about our King.
