I think we’ve become so conditioned to constantly think about the past and the future that we’ve almost forgotten what it feels like to simply be in the here and now—to have an empty mind and finally experience some peace and quiet. But getting there takes a lot of practice. We have to learn something that no one ever really taught us: how to simply be present.
