She wasn’t mad that they ruined her dress, she was mad that they were playing with fire. Even this part, she’s more mad that the teacher is cheating Reese out of a grade more than the fact that Reese cheated

Being older I can understand this scene a bit better. Yea, it's harsh hearing she'd sacrifice Malcolm for Reese, but it showed ( and like she explained), Malcolm would turn out fine because of his intelligence and smarts. He could make it, while Reese would fail and need major help.

i always love thr teacher looking around not after she starts yelling, but after the thunder and lightning it always looks like he's like "wait did *she* do that?"
