A San Antonio realtor called us out over our taco prices… so instead of getting mad, we listened. 🌮👀 Some of the criticism was FAIR. The tacos he received were dry, we could’ve done better, and after reading the comments, we actually changed our pricing at Takitos Con Sabor. But a lot of people thought we sell mini tacos… so we decided to have a little fun. 😂 We bought mini tacos from another San Antonio taco truck, brought out the SCALE, compared tortilla sizes, meat portions and prices, and even broke down what happens to 100 lbs of raw meat after cooking and shrinkage. And while we’re talking about pricing, there are TWO things we purposely do differently: 🚫 CREDIT CARD TIPS ARE DISABLED. We’re not going to flip a screen around asking you for 15%, 20% or 25%. We believe it’s the employer’s responsibility to pay employees a living wage. 💳 WE PAY THE CREDIT CARD FEES. We don’t pass that extra percentage onto you. Why? Because those are two things I personally dislike as a customer. I want to serve people the way I want to be served. This isn’t about saying we’re better than anybody. It’s about showing what actually goes into food truck and restaurant pricing—and proving that small businesses need to LISTEN when customers speak. Mike, you cooked us 😂 but the feedback actually helped us improve. Now I need a HOUSE in San Antonio. 🏠😂 Who’s the best realtor on the Far West Side?
