@cheshiredoglady: All Amie wanted was for Billy to give her away… and he did. 🥹🤍 Billy is 16 years old. He’s Amie’s childhood dog. She’s had him by her side since she was just 13 years old — through growing up, through every chapter of her life… and now, her wedding day. 🐾 There was only one thing Amie desperately wanted. For Billy to be the one to give her away. 🤍 At 16, he’s a little slower these days. His legs aren’t quite as steady as they once were, and we knew we’d have to take everything completely at Billy’s pace. And then the moment came… Slowly, carefully, one little step at a time, Billy walked her down that aisle. He made it. 🥹😭 And I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. And once his very important job was done, we had a comfy bed waiting for him at the front of the ceremony. I sat beside him while he settled down and he watched the girl he’d loved since she was 13 years old get married. 😭🤍 Of all the wedding chaperones I’ve been lucky enough to be part of, this is one of those moments I know I’ll never forget.
