Address by Dr Hamad Abdullah Al Mutairi, Acting Executive Director of the NLA and Vice President of the International Council on Archives for Programme Affairs (2025–2029), During the International Archives Week Celebration In his address during the International Archives Week events, Dr Hamad Abdullah Al Mutairi, emphasised that the role of archives extends beyond preserving documents. It also includes safeguarding rights, promoting justice and protecting documentary heritage, contributing to the preservation of national memory for future generations.
