If this man is implying that this squirrel doesn't become naturally defensive of fearful towards himans bc they were "hand-reared" or "extended rehabilitation", I disagree. That sweet squirrel considers this woman his mother/family but, that doesn't mean she shows the same trust in EVERY human. She knows her "moms" voice and smell but may likely not offer the same greeting to another human. I've rehabbed many baby grey squirrels and successfully released them back into nature in my backyard. They would often come back to visit me when I would call them or at times just for the company but they had no interest in any other human. I've only had 1 that imprinted on me that refused to return to nature. I kept him his entire life. He would only allow me and my clone daughter to ever touch him. He despised any other human. I miss that sweet boy as if he were my own child. Any person that has ever had the privilege of rehabbing a baby squirrel knows exactly what I'm referencing. 🤌❤️
