🏀👑 BCA 2026–27 NBA PACIFIC DIVISION PREVIEW This might be one of the hardest divisions to predict because almost every team has something to prove. But BCA is putting LUKA AND THE LAKERS at No. 1. 🥇 1. LOS ANGELES LAKERS — 53–29 I like this Lakers team. I like what they put around Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves, and I especially like bringing in Walker Kessler. Luka and Reaves already showed they could get in sync and run that offense together. Now this is clearly Luka’s team. You’ve got Kessler protecting the paint, additional defensive pieces around the perimeter, and enough scoring around Luka that he shouldn’t have to manufacture everything himself. I think the Lakers are constructed better for what Luka needs. BCA has them winning the Pacific. 🥈 2. PHOENIX SUNS — 49–33 Don’t sleep on Phoenix. I think these boys could be some young rough riders this season. They’ve got Devin Booker, and I like what they’ve assembled around him. Jalen Green is another major piece for me—if he can stay healthy and give Phoenix a full season, there’s some serious offensive firepower here. I like the makeup. I like the youth. I like the potential. Phoenix is one of my teams to watch. We’re putting them No. 2. 🥉 3. LA CLIPPERS — 46–36 The Clippers are probably the biggest mystery in this division. They’ve changed a lot. There are new pieces, new roles and a different identity to establish. Rui Hachimura is part of that new look, and there’s enough talent on this roster that I think they’ll be competitive. Do I completely trust it yet? No. But right now, I like their overall potential enough to put them ahead of Golden State and Sacramento. Clippers at No. 3. 4️⃣ GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS — 42–40 Steph Curry will probably be Steph Curry. That’s not my concern. My concern is everybody else and the age of this roster. Golden State didn’t make the kind of offseason moves that make me believe they’ve suddenly solved their problems, and Jimmy Butler isn’t entering the season ready to go. They do have that young rookie out of Michigan that I like. There’s young talent worth watching. But is that enough to carry an aging roster through an entire Western Conference season? I’ve got to see it. Golden State could absolutely surprise us, but entering the season BCA has the Warriors No. 4. 5️⃣ SACRAMENTO KINGS — 38–44 Sacramento has some pieces. I like the young guard they brought in from Arkansas, and pairing that kind of young talent with Domantas Sabonis could create some nice pick-and-roll basketball. But they’re still young, they’re still developing, and compared with the four teams above them, I don’t think they have enough yet. Can Sacramento make some noise? Absolutely. Can they surprise us? Absolutely. But I’m not putting them into the Pacific Division race based on potential alone. Kings at No. 5. 👑 BCA PACIFIC PROJECTION 1️⃣ Los Angeles Lakers 2️⃣ Phoenix Suns 3️⃣ LA Clippers 4️⃣ Golden State Warriors 5️⃣ Sacramento Kings 🏆 DIVISION WINNER: LOS ANGELES LAKERS Remember what these are: PRESEASON PROJECTIONS. The Clippers could surprise us. Golden State could surprise us. Phoenix could be better than expected. Sacramento’s young players could develop faster than expected. And even our Lakers pick still has to prove itself over 82 games. We’re putting our evaluation on the table before the season starts, then we’re going to see how it looks when the basketball is actually played. And BCA’s division predictions have held up pretty damn well before. Right now? LUKA AND THE LAKERS TAKE THE PACIFIC. 👑 BLACK CROWN AUTHORITY The Global King of Sports Entertainment #NBA #Lakers #NBAPreview #PacificDivision #BlackCrownAuthority
